The Location The Location

The Location

Located 30 kms from our flagship award-winning resort GANGA KINARE in the heart of Rishikesh, ONENESS is nestled in a riverside forested mountain in the hamlet of Byasi on the Rishikesh Badrinath Highway.

5 hours by road from Delhi
1.5 hours from the Dehradun airport

Nonpareil

At Dev Prayag, the confluence of Alaknanda and Bhagirathi, 30 kms upstream from ONENESS, the Ganges emerges. 30 kms beyond ONENESS at Rishikesh, a hydro power project turns Ganga into a canal.

The Ganges in its purest & most accessible form is ONLY available for 60 kms between Dev Prayag and Rishikesh. ONENESS is the ONLY north facing property (think spectacular sunrises) on the other side of the river, distinct from all other properties on the busy, commercial highway.

The architecture

Bamboo Structures

  • The choice of bamboo as our primary material for the two signature structures at ONENESS was deliberate, aligning with our commitment to sustainability.
  • The reception, an embodiment of warmth and welcome, crowned by a bamboo guest cottage.
  • Every inch of the reception, from thin eucalyptus sticks to sturdy balcuba bamboos, has been meticulously handcrafted. This structure stands as a testament to our dedication to using natural materials and fostering environmental consciousness.
  • A magnificent bamboo hall, a versatile space
  • The bamboo hall is a multi-purpose marvel, serving as a restaurant and yoga hall. Its unique design, mirroring the free-flowing waves of the Ganges, adds an iconic touch to our destination. The creation of this structure was no small feat; bending bamboo is an intricate process, and each piece has been meticulously carved through a chemical process.
